Letter from the BPA President

Welcome to the Brunswick Parents’ Association! 

The Brunswick Parents’ Association (BPA) is an organization of parent volunteers dedicated to  supporting Brunswick students, faculty and administration through a wide range of programs and  activities. Our objective is to enrich our sons’ school experience and strengthen our Brunswick community through educational, informational, social and fundraising projects. Many of our events are as much “friend-raising” as they are fundraising. 

Building community is a primary goal of the BPA. The BPA assists in coordinating the school’s Host Family Program to support new students. The BPA also coordinates the Class Parents, who volunteer their time and efforts to organize classroom festivities, social events for students, and gathering opportunities for parents. Finally, through your Faculty & Staff Appreciation donations, the BPA provides holiday and year-end gifts to all Brunswick faculty and staff, as well as special gestures of gratitude to teachers throughout the year. 

Funds raised by the BPA support and enhance Brunswick, including helping to provide:

• Classroom and playground equipment 

• Student assemblies and parent lectures 

• Science and technology enhancements 

• Faculty housing and enrichment 

• Arts and athletics improvements 

The BPA was established over 80 years ago, in 1944, by Headmaster Alfred Everett as the “Parent-Teacher Group.” It launched its first fundraiser that year, a Dessert Bridge, that raised $800. A Fashion Show was added the following year. Today, we continue that tradition by alternating each year between our biennial Spring Benefit and the Fashion Show and Golf Outing. This year, we invite you to join us for our "House of 'Wick" Fashion Show in Burke Field House on April 22, 2027 and for our Golf Outing at GlenArbor Golf Club on May 3, 2027.

The BPA’s efforts touch all aspects of our Brunswick boys’ lives: academics, athletics, arts,  community service, and social events. We hope you will become involved in the BPA — please volunteer, meet other parents, and share your time and talents!
