Brunswick picked up a pair of FAA victories on Wednesday, outpacing St. Luke’s (18-42) and King (15-46). Wes Peisch added another individual victory with a time of 17:50, winning the event as the lone finisher under 18 minutes. Fellow Bruin Kyle Raker (18:33) finished second, while three other teammates finished in the top six.
After the one-two Brunswick finish and a St. Luke’s racer taking third, a trio of Bruins crossed the line in order to earn fourth, fifth, and sixth place results to seal the two team wins. Fourth-place finisher Chris Ramos (19:04) led the charge, as Charlie Garland (19:30) and Jack Driscoll (19:36) took fifth and sixth, respectively.
The Bruins will look to extend their 69-race FAA winning streak on Wednesday, October 11, as the team heads to Sherwood Island for another league race.
