Peer Leaders Bring Creativity and Costume to Orientation Day
Senior Peer Leaders from Brunswick and Greenwich Academy — 36 in all — gathered bright and early on Friday, September 1, to greet all ninth-grade students as they set to begin their Upper School years on both campuses next week.
Freshman boys and girls received quite the colorful and creative welcome from their older and more experienced peer leaders, as all were dressed in costume and ready to spend the morning with their younger and less experienced schoolmates.
Ice-breaking activities, question and answer, a tour of Brunswick and Greenwich Academy, and lunch were all part of the day's traditional events.
The longstanding program will continue through the first semester with weekly group meetings and activities.
Headmaster Tom Philip captured a spirited video of the day's action. Click here to watch.
