Golf Team's Depth Overcomes St. Luke's

Brunswick traveled to St. Luke's home course – Country Club of New Canaan – and came away with a solid 7.5 - 1.5 victory on Tuesday.  

High winds made conditions difficult but Brunswick's strength through the six man line-up prevailed.

The team was led by sophomore Jack Chung, who shot an even par 36 and was the afternoon's medalist.  Senior captain Will Harned posted a 38 to tie his match and sophomore Charlie Perkins also shot a 38 to win his match. Other match winners were Henry Graham (40) and Teddy Cooney (43). Senior captain James O'Connor posted a respectable 39 but lost by a stroke to his Storm opponent.

The team faces Taft at Greenwich Country Club on Wednesday.
