The Upper School Math Team continues to excel, finishing first in the Fairfield County Math League this year after winning every match of its six-match season and earning 598 points overall.
New Canaan High School took second for the year with 435 points, while Greenwich High was a close third with 433 points.
The Fairfield County Math League has 29 public and private school teams which compete once a month in a season that begins in October.
Brunswick won every one of the six matches this year.
The A-team won its March 6 match with 97 points, with New Canaan High coming second with 82. As well, two sophomores, Vikram Sarkar ’26 and Jack Whitney-Epstein ’26, earned perfect scores of 18 out of 18, while ’Wick’s strong B1 team got 63 points, which would have placed it 6th in the A-team league.
Aside from Sarkar and Whitney-Epstein, the A-team this month included Ajay Bagaria ’24, Thomas Ewald ’24, Jeremy Lee ’25, and Andrew Tu ’24.
