Brunswick will host its third straight FAA championship game after advancing past Hamden Hall by a score of 67-53 on Thursday evening.
It was a high scoring and competitive first half. The Bruins found success on offense both in the half court and in transition, but the Hornets were able to keep pace with their precision shooting. Brunswick had a 40-38 advantage at the break.
The second half was all Bruins, as they immediately seized control of the contest, going on a 23-3 run over 12 minutes and putting the game out of reach. With a commanding lead, the home team gave its starters some much needed rest in the closing minutes.
Ethan Long had 18 points, Matty Augustine added 17, and Brandon Jean chipped in 15.
Brunswick looks to capture its second straight FAA title on Saturday.
