Brunswick lost to Loomis, 86-48, on the road on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bruins hung tough with one of the top ranked teams in New England during the first half. On a day when none of the open looks seemed to fall, Brunswick did everything it could to manufacture buckets to try to keep up with the high-scoring Pelicans squad.
Trailing 40-26 at the break, the game was still within reach. But ultimately an early second half run from Loomis put an end to any hope of a comeback and Brunswick turned to its bench.
JP Pray and Matty Augustine led the Bruins in scoring with eight points apiece.
