Wrestlers Move Record to 16-2 at FAAs

Brunswick (16-2) hosted the six-team 2024 Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) Championships, going 4-1 on the day and taking second place as a team.
 
Jack Degl '25 (18-3) earned FAA All-League Honorable Mention for going 4-1 at 165 lb. including a tough 8-6 loss to a wrestler currently #11 in the National Prep rankings. That match came down to a takedown in the final seconds of the 3rd period.
 
Michael Accetta '24 (22-3) also went 4-1 on the day including avenging a loss from the finals of the previous weekend's Brunswick Invitational Tournament. The Bruin co-captain dominated the re-match, building a 12-0 lead before pinning his opponent in the 3rd period.
 
Ethan Phelps '26 went 3-0 on the day to bring his record to 16-6 as he now steps fully into the varsity line-up.
 
In addition to those three Brunswick wrestlers, the following varsity starters have also now punched their tickets to the New England Prep Championships by way of their win percentage on the season with only one regular season meet now remaining:
