Brunswick lost a back-and-forth battle, 63-52, against Suffield at Dann Gym on Wednesday afternoon.
The two teams traded baskets for much of the first half, both having opportunities to build a lead, but neither able to pull away due to tough defense and missed chances on the offensive end. The Bruins led 25-22 at the break.
After several more lead changes to start the second half, Suffield went on a run and took their largest lead of the game, 50-39, with seven minutes to play. Brunswick eventually battled back and was within striking distance in the final minute of play, but was ultimately unable to close the gap.
