Young Brunswick Grapplers Earn Wins

Brunswick (6-1) traveled to Canterbury School to wrestle the host Saints and also Marvelwood School on Wednesday. The young Bruins squad came home with two more dual meet wins for the team.
 
Brunswick 9th graders in today's lineup were 8-0 on the day highlighted by a gritty decision from MJ Maraglino '27 at 190 lb. Brunswick 10th graders were 10-0 on the day highlighted by a tactful win by decision from Alec Harned '26 against a tough opponent from Canterbury at 144 lb.
 
Co-captain Michael Accetta '24 (7-0) was the lone senior who got the call today and he earned two pins and led the young group to a total of 12 pins of the 16 matches wrestled on the day.

The Bruins will head to Tabor Academy this weekend for the Battle on the Bay, featuring 19 schools from around New England on Saturday, December 16.
