In a 45-minute contest in Washington, Conn., the Bruins amassed a total of 28 minutes of penalty time and couldn't hang in against the hosts from Frederick Gunn, dropping Saturday's tilt by a score of 5-0.
The referees were eager to raise their hands, yet most of the infractions were deserved – albeit soft.
LJ Bylow was a great stand-in today, but the Bruins simply gave up too many odd man rushes and breakaways, and the home team was able to take advantage of those opportunities.
It is time for the team to regroup, learn to play their game again, and execute in the offensive zone the way they did so well this past Thursday.
Next for the Bruins is a 6:30 p.m. game on Wednesday up at Kent.
