Brunswick suffered a loss in its first game of the season at Taft on Saturday afternoon by a score of 75-44.
The veteran Rhino squad jumped all over the young Bruins from the opening tip, creating turnovers with their length and athleticism and capitalizing on easy offensive opportunities.
After trailing 40-11 at the break, Brunswick fought hard to chip away at the lead in the second half, but every run that was made the opponent inevitably countered with one of Taft's own.
Connor Robinson led the way offensively with 11 points. Ethan Long chipped in nine, while Bryce Davis and JP Pray had seven apiece.
The Bruins will look to bounce back Tuesday at King, followed by a trip to Millbrook on Wednesday.
