The golf team moved to 7-0 on the season after defeating Portledge School by an aggregate score of 190-225 on Monday at Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, N.Y.
After a rainy morning, the sun broke out and saw the Bruins capture five individual matches and tie one. Junior James O'Connor's medalist score of 36 highlighted a day of solid play for 'Wick. Senior captains Harry Bonomo and Henry Devaney shot 38 and 41, respectively, and freshman Jack Chung contributed his own share of good golf, scoring a 38 in his first varsity match. Henry Graham came in at 42, and sophomore Rocket Servick, continuing his run of good play, rounded out the day's scoring with a 37.
The Bruins will pick it up again on Tuesday for a match with St. Luke's at Country Club of New Canaan.
