In the first game on Rink B at the Exeter Invitational, Brunswick broke open a one-goal game with five second-period tallies — many of the tic-tac-toe-into-an-empty-net variety — on its way to an 8-2 victory against New Hampton on Saturday evening in New Hampshire.
Sophomores Connor Choy, Brendan Giles (2), and Cooper Cleaves all netted their first career goals for the Bruins, while junior Eli Friedman had a big night with four points (1G, 3A) and fellow classmate and netminder Will Baker earned his first “W” in between the pipes.
Senior co-captain Hank Cleaves got off the schneid — and juniors Daniel Hu and Sloan Farmer also put their names on the scoresheet.
