Brunswick senior Ali Hindy has been named a finalist in the 2021 Jefferson Scholars competition — a distinguished program designed to attract the most promising leaders, scholars, and citizens in the world to the University of Virginia.
Since 1980, the Jefferson Scholarship Program has been cultivating outstanding undergraduate students, providing them with the financial support to pursue their passions and develop their talents for the good of the University of Virginia and beyond.
Hindy will participate in the Jefferson Scholars Selection Event in March, which will include virtual information sessions and opportunities to meet with current students, faculty, and alumni to learn more about the University and the Foundation.
The final stage of the process will be Hindy’s participation in a 30-minute Zoom interview with the selection committee.
