A trio of Bruins were recently named to the Beast of the East All-Tournament Team. Kyle Yelensky and Thacher Scannell picked up first-team accolades, while Keegan Drew nabbed second-team honors.
In the challenging 32-team event, the Bruins cruised through the preliminary rounds, eventually earning a spot in the championship. In the title match, Brunswick fell to the host team, Wilson High School (Reading, Pa.). For the tournament, the second-place Bruins finished with a 4-1 record.
At the tournament, Scannell paced the Bruins with 11 goals, while Yelensky added 10 markers and Drew notched eight tallies.
