Students 'Connect' to Build Camaraderie and Community
Upper and Middle School boys united on Edwards Campus this week to help build leadership and teamwork skills as part of Brunswick’s Connections Program.
Connections is a cross-divisional initiative that aims to build the bonds of camaraderie and community among students of all ages — while also reinforcing the concept that students are responsible for each other and should look out for one another.
In this particular exercise, facilitated by junior and senior boys, one student was blindfolded while other members of the group gave verbal instructions to keep him out of harm’s way and lead him to find a missing object. All had a chance to lead and to follow.
Upper School boys capped the exercise by leading an interactive discussion about leadership and teamwork.
