Brunswick jumped to an early lead against Hopkins en route to a decisive 63-36 road victory against the Hilltoppers on Friday. With the win, the Bruins improve to 3-6 overall and 2-3 in FAA play. The Bruins return to action at Salisbury on January 21.
Brunswick built a double-figure lead against Hopkins (0-9, 0-5) midway through the first half and took a 29-19 lead at the intermission.
In the second half, the Bruins doubled-up the Hilltoppers 34-17, cruising to the 63-36 finish.
Charlie Sealy led the Bruins with 15 points on 7-11 shooting, while Muna Nwana netted a dozen points and Cam Kelly chipped in 11.
Brunswick out-rebounded Hopkins 33-21, as Jack Malloy had eight caroms.
