Brunswick baseball picked up a 17-2 win against King on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bruins fired up the offense in the first inning, when Cole Mascolo hit a solo homer.
’Wick put up six runs in the second inning. The bats were led by Boston Flannery, Josh Feldman, William Nook, Riley Redahan, and Mascolo, all driving in runs in the frame.
Feldman got the start for the Bruins. The righthander went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Jackson Shepelsky came in to close out the game and allowed zero earned runs in two innings of relief while striking out two.
Kyle Karas had an productive day at plate, going 2-for-2 and leading the Bruins in hits. Mascolo, Flannery, and Michael Yeager all had two RBIs.
Brunswick moved to 10-2 overall and 4-1 in league play. The Bruins are back in action on Thursday afternoon for a league game against Masters.
