Wrestling - Varsity

Led by legendary coach Tim Ostrye, all Upper School wrestlers train together throughout the winter in the Ostrye Wrestling Gymnasium, where a number of plaques and banners adorn the walls as a testament to the hard work and success of past Bruin teams.

The program's streak of 22-straight FAA titles ended in 2020, while it has won 35 out of the last 37 league championships. Additionally, Brunswick teams have won 15 Western New England crowns, including six in a row (2014-19), while picking up countless individual honors and awards in the process.

In 2020, the Bruins took second at the WNEISWA tournament and third at the NEISWA tournament. 2021 saw the season limited to individual skill work and conditioning, although two wrestlers earned All-American honors at the National Prep Tournament.
