Athletic Facilities

Brunswick’s athletic facilities rank among the top in the northeast and in the nation. The school’s main athletic facilities are located on Edwards campus at 1252 King Street in Greenwich, where 104 acres are home to Burke Field House, Sampson Athletic Center, Mehra Natatorium, Robert L. Cosby Field, Richman Tennis Center, William Grant Gregory Rowing Tank Center, Caputo Field, and Smith Field.  Carroll Field, which features a turf soccer field and track, is located across the street on the Middle School campus. The Falco Rowing Center is located 10 minutes from school on the Mianus River in Cos Cob.

  • Baseball Fields

    Brunswick has two natural grass baseball fields for varsity, junior, and sub-varsity baseball teams. The varsity field is 305 ft down the baseline and 370 feet to centerfield.
  • Burke Field House

    Burke Field House, a 31,000 square-foot facility, is home to three basketball courts, the Ostrye Wrestling Room, and the Cosby Weight Room for strength and conditioning training. It houses the Brunswick Athletic Training Room, officials’ room, and football locker rooms for home and visiting teams.
  • Caputo Field and Smith Field

    Caputo and Smith Fields are the venues for sub-varsity soccer teams. The grass fields are constantly utilized for junior varsity, thirds, and Middle School soccer practices and games.
  • Carroll Field

    Carrol Field’s all-weather outdoor track features six lanes, a long-jump pit, a pole-vault runway, a high-jump venue, shot put and discus sectors, and a state-of-the-art time system. A regulation-sized turf pitch at Carroll Field is home to Brunswick’s varsity soccer team.
  • Falco Rowing Center

    The Falco Rowing Center is located on the Mianus River in Cos Cob, Conn. The state-of-the art boathouse opened in August 2016. The facility includes three full boat bays and a half bay, a work space for boat repairs, an exercise room/erg room, coaches’ offices, and locker rooms. The Falco Rowing Center is a first-class high performance rowing facility.
  • Mehra Natatorium

    The Mehra Natatorium is an eight-lane pool that includes a 12-foot-deep diving end with two one-meter diving boards. Mehra is home to the Brunswick swimming and water polo teams.
  • Richman Tennis Center

    The Richman Tennis Center has seven courts, including two newly constructed championship courts.
  • Robert L. Cosby Field

    Cosby Field is the home field for varsity lacrosse and football. Several games are played annually under the lights at the turf-field facility. The stadium features a state-of-the art scoreboard, press box, and livestreaming capabilities for all events.
  • Sampson Athletic Center

    The 65,000 square foot Sampson Center features Dann Gymnasium, Stephens Squash Courts, and Hartong Rink.  
    • Dann Gym is home to the Brunswick basketball team. The facility features two basketball courts and locker rooms for varsity, junior varsity, freshmen, and visiting teams.
    • Stephens Squash Center is home to one of the top scholastic squash programs in the country. The Center has nine international-sized squash courts, including a championship court and spectator viewing areas.
    • Hartong Rink is an NHL regulation size rink with locker rooms for varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen teams, a training room, and a viewing area for games.
