Aaron Sabato Named All-State in Baseball

Aaron Sabato earned another baseball award recently, as the freshly-minted Brunswick graduate earned a spot on the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Connecticut Baseball Team. Sabato, a first-team choice for the squad, helped the Bruins win an FAA Championship this past season.

 

The co-captain from Rye Brook, N.Y., led the Bruins in numerous offensive categories in 2018. The power-hitting shortstop led Brunswick in walks (19), hits (35), double (8), triples (4) and home runs (6). Additionally, Sabato was tops on the team in RBI (20), runs scored (34), batting average (.556), on-base percentage (.655) and slugging (1.095).

 

Sabato is committed to play baseball at the University of North Carolina next season.
