Crew Tops Salisbury, Secures Richard Curtis Trophy
For the first time in four years, Brunswick captured the Richard Curtis Trophy from Salisbury. The Bruins swept the day's racing over the Crimson Knights on Saturday on Lake Washinee.
The win sets a competitive tone for Brunswick moving forward this season, as Salisbury earned medals at each of the past three New England (NEIRA) Championships.
Brunswick now holds a 7-6 all-time record in 1V Richard Curtis Trophy races over Salisbury.
The Bruins are set to race Fairfield Prep on Saturday, April 21, in Bridgeport. The two teams will compete for the Kulaga Cup.
