Hoops Stopped by St. Luke’s in League Game

St. Luke’s topped Brunswick in an FAA match-up on Friday night in Dann Gym, 85-56. With the setback, the Bruins drop to 3-11 overall and 2-5 in league play, while the Red Storm improve to 10-4 and 6-1 in FAA action.
 
For the game, the Storm had a strong shooting performance, hitting 30-52 shots from the field (.577), including an impressive 11-22 from behind the arc. Conversely, the Bruins were held to 20-52 shooting (.385) from the floor, connecting on just 4-18 from downtown. For the game, the visitors held a 31-22 rebounding advantage.
 
Muna Nwana led the Bruins with 14 points and five rebounds, while Jack Molloy chipped in 11. Brennan Troy returned to the line-up and added seven points in 12 minutes of action.
 
Brunswick returns to FAA action on Monday, January 29, hosting Rye CDS. The two teams played on January 22, where the Bruins beat the Wildcats on the road, 89-83.
