For the second race in a row, Brunswick placed a trio of racers in the overall top six, as the Bruins went 3-2 in CISL action on the course at Mt. Southington on Thursday. Ethan Hynes finished third, while Jose Riera took fifth and teammate Ian Murray was sixth.
The Bruins collected a total team time of 303.53, besting Glastonbury and Southington, as Farmington was disqualified. Staples (290.75) and Ridgefield (285.92) were faster on the nighttime slopes than Brunswick.
The Bruins (10-6) return to Mt. Southington on Wednesday, January 31, for another CISL event.
