Brunswick lost to Northwood in the consolation game at the St. Sebastian’s Tournament on Sunday, 5-3. The Bruins battled hard throughout the 50-minute tilt, but couldn't come up with the tying goal in the second half, as the Huskies (19-6-1) added an empty-netter in the final minute of action.
Northwood owned a 3-2 lead after the first half. Charles Shaffer netted his sixth goal of the season for Brunswick, while Nick Boardman notched his first marker of the year in the opening frame.
In the second half, Brunswick's Jack Forrest collected his team-leading seventh goal.
While the setback sets the Bruins' overall record at 4-4-1, the result against Northwood does not count against Brunswick’s NEPSIHA mark (4-3-1).
