Nick Blum took the top spot in the CISL race held at Mt. Southington on Thursday, as the Bruins won five of seven team races.
With the five wins, Brunswick qualified for the Connecticut State Championship.
Brunswick’s top six skiers combined for a time of 281.61, besting Barlow (298.53), Westhill (326.15),and Danbury, Bethel and New Fairfield (347.75). Weston High and Fairfield Prep snuck past the Bruins for the two Brunswick setbacks.
Blum picked up his fourth overall CISL win, combining an opening run of 21.99 with a time of 21.45 time on the second run against a very strong field of competitors.
Fellow Bruins Ian Murray finished 10th, as Tucker Calcano took 12th place.
