It was a nice spring day for lacrosse on Cosby Field on Saturday, as Brunswick defeated Hotchkiss by a score of 15-6.
The visitors struck first with an early goal, but it was all Brunswick for the rest of the game. The teams went into the break with Brunswick on top 7-2.
It was true team effort today with 11 different goal scorers; junior attackman Owen Iles led the score sheet with three of his own. Seniors Casey Quinson and Max Warden both had two-goal games as well.
Brunswick’s defense, ever strong once again and backed up by the goalie combination of Tucker Williams and Will Connell, allowed only six goals today.
Hill Academy (Ontario, Canada) will make the long bus ride down to face the Bruins on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. on Cosby Field.
