Bruins Suffer Season's First Loss
The varsity baseball team suffered its first loss of the season on Monday, as the Bruins fell to a talented Hamden Hall team by the score of 5-1.
Michael Yeager got the start on the mound for the Bruins and gave six innings of work. Ty Ostrowski came on in relief.
Hamden Hall threw a very talented arm and kept the the Brunswick lineup off balance all afternoon.
The Bruins one run came from a single by Jerry Guzman to bring home Jayden Montanez.
The Bruins look to bounce back on Wednesday, as they face off against the Putnam Science Academy. Jackson Shepelsky will get the start.
