Wick JV1 Wins Sixth in a Row

Right off the jump, Luke Martinez was able to put one away as Johnny Backx put a cross into the 6, which bounced around until Martinez got a foot on it. Blake Levy put away our second goal after running unmarked into the box and hitting a strong, well-placed ball across the goal mouth. 

 

French American was able to get a goal of their own after one of our defenders was called for a handball in the 18. The penalty kick was awarded and finished, despite Michael Attubato's effort to get to the ball.

 

To end the game, we had many looks and opportunities on goal, but most weren’t put away until Luke Martinez scored his second of the contest. A ball played over the top from Johnny Backx was bouncing towards goal when Martinez came in and hit the ball out of the air directly over the keeper’s left shoulder.
