After trailing by three runs, Brunswick came from behind to defeat RCDS, 8-5, in an FAA baseball game played in Rye, N.Y., on Thursday afternoon.
Player Crosby pitched a complete game, giving up five runs on eight hits and striking out eight.
Cole Mascolo, Aidan Redahan, and Adonys Guzman all homered for the Bruins, while Michael Yeager and Nick Bianco each had a pair of hits. Josh Feldman, Sam Sealy, Riley Redahan, and Crosby added a hit apiece.
The Bruins (5-5, 2-0) will travel to Norwich, Conn., on Saturday for a double header against the Chancellors of St. Thomas More. First pitch will be at noon, with the second game to follow shortly after the first.
