Basketball Wraps Up Three Games in 24 Hours with Setback Against Tabor
The Bruins wrapped up three games of basketball in 24 hours, battling the host school at the Tabor Winter Classic on Saturday. Brunswick dropped its finale to the Seawolves, 72-36.
In the game, Tabor burst out to a commanding 46-7 lead by the half. However, after the intermission, the Bruins played even in the second stanza, outscoring the hosts 29-26 down the stretch.
Tabor shot an impressive 27-45 (.600) in the game, including knocking down 7-15 from behind the arc, while the Seahawks’ defense held the Bruins to 12-37 (.324) shooting from the field. For the game, Tabor out-rebounded Brunswick, 27-19.
Colin Mulshine paced Brunswick (0-7) with 10 points on 4-6 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers. Muna Nwana netted a trio of threes for nine points, as Harrison Caponiti led the squad with six rebounds.
The Bruins return to FAA action after the holiday break, hosting Hopkins on January 6 inside Dann Gym at 1:00 p.m.
