Brunswick competed in the George C. Shafer Doubles Tournament at The Episcopal Academy in Newtown, Pa., this weekend — with two teams of Bruins winning their seeded brackets.
In the second doubles bracket, Johnny Riel and Jack Sieg took the title with a victory against the entry from Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C.
Sebastien Moullé-Berteaux and Rowan Glanville secured top honors in the third doubles bracket by also defeating a tandem from Sidwell Friends.
Will Monahan and Santos Gunningham bowed out in the semifinals of the first doubles bracket, and Neel Behringer and Oscar Geren were knocked out in the consolation bracket of the fourth doubles.
Based on points earned, the Bruins finished third overall in the tournament.
