Golfers from Brunswick and St. Luke's shot impressive scores in windy and cool conditions at Country Club of New Canaan on Tuesday, but it was the Storm emerging victorious by a five-man aggregate score of 183-184 on the par 34 front-nine layout.
Freshman Jack Chung earned medalist honors with an even-par round, followed in scoring by the senior quartet of Sam O'Hara (36), Andrew Stickel (37), Matteo Santulin (38), and Fritz Smith (39). Junior Will Harned rounded out the afternoon for the Bruins with a 41.
The St. Luke's top five came in at 35, 36, 36, 37, and 39 to eke out the victory and knock 'Wick from the ranks of the unbeaten.
The Bruins travel to Taft on Wednesday to tee it up against the Rhinos at Watertown Golf Club.
