Varsity squash had a dominant performance against Episcopal Academy on a frigid Saturday morning at Stephens Squash Center, sweeping the visitors, 7-0.
Brunswick had previously played Episcopal in Philadelphia, winning the season opener by a margin of 5-2.
This time around it was all Bruins, as decisive wins from Will Newton at #6 and Henry Raine at #4 started the day. At #2, Will Newman played excellent squash, cruising to a 3-0 victory and avenging a four-game loss from the season opener.
More success followed for Brunswick in the second round of matches, which saw Cole Cline and Anden Boulan win at #5 and #7. Oliver Velasco won at #3 after his opponent retired due to injury. At #1, Johan Hodgson closed out the sweep with another win in four games.
Varsity squash looks ahead to its last regular season match against Hotchkiss at home on Wednesday, February 15, at 3 p.m.
