Brunswick’s William Kallman finished in second place overall at a CISL race on Thursday at Mount Southington, as the Bruins finished 5-2 in team competition to open the 2020 season. Two other Bruins finished in the top-25 in the 184-person event, as Cameron Shipman was 16th and Eliot Hynes was 21st.
Kallman was consistent on both runs, finishing in second place in each attempt.
The Bruins top-six skiers finished with overall team time of 303.78, as Brunswick topped Westhill (354.39), Guilford (366.65), Danbury (386.96), Hand (316.18) and Ridgefield (311.42), while falling to Pomperaug (291.36) and Fairfield Prep (290.63).
Brunswick returns to CISL team-racing action at Mount Southington on Thursday, January 23.
