    2023 - 2024

Crew, with its ethos steeped in sportsmanship and teamwork, serves well to match the ideals of the school. Brunswick’s rowing program strives to build strong character in each boy on the team while providing a competitive athletic experience on the water.

The team trains out of its own boathouse in Cos Cob and at its state-of-the-art rowing tanks. Brunswick rowers learn to scull and sweep in small boats while also competing in eights as a member of the NEIRA (New England Interscholastic Rowing Association).

Brunswick has earned medals at the NEIRA Championships and the Stotesbury Cup Regatta. In select years, Brunswick sends a squad to race at Henley Royal Regatta to compete for the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup.

Many Bruins continue their rowing careers at the collegiate level, and some have gone on to represent the United States at the highest levels of the sport.
