    2018 - 2019

Brunswick’s lacrosse program has a storied tradition of lacrosse excellence. Since joining the New England West 1 (NEW1) Conference in 2006, the most challenging league in the region, the Bruins won the NEW1 crown three times (2014, 2017 and 2018), while finishing in the top four every season dating back to 2009.

Beyond the difficult conference slate, the Bruins consistently schedule a number of the best regional and nationally ranked teams every season.

In 2018, the Bruins went 16-1 overall and 10-1 in NEW1 action. The Bruins won a huge North American showdown, as Brunswick rolled past Hill Academy (Ontario), 14-8, as both teams finished in the top-six in the final rankings.

Since becoming head coach in 2007, David Bruce holds a 156-51 overall record (.753), against one of the hardest schedules in the country. While coach Bruce was recognized as the Western New England Coach of the Year in 2014, a dozen of his players received All-American accolades during his tenure.

On the national stage, the Bruins have finished in the top-10 three times (6th in 2018, 4th in 2017 and 9th in 2014).

Graduation has not stopped numerous Bruins from combining their academic and athletic pursuits at the college level. Former Bruins are found at a number of top college programs, as 96 Brunswick alums have played lacrosse collegiately since 2000.
