Founded in 1998, the Brunswick School Boat Club (BSBC) achieved tremendous success, highlighted by the squad’s top American finish at Henley in 2009 and five top 10 finishes at the Head of the Charles over the past several years. The program has produced many fine oarsmen, including dozens of top collegiate rowers. A number of Brunswick alums rowed collegiately at a number of Ivy League programs, UC-Berkeley, Georgetown, Stanford. Brunswick can also boast a pair of Olympic rowers as well.
The team boats out of Brunswick’s own rowing facility on the Mianus River in Cos Cob. In addition to the main spring racing season, a smaller group of rowers participate in the fall “head race” season.
