Brunswick squash owns a distinguished history since it officially became a varsity sport in 1973. Current coach Jim Stephens took over the program in 1985 and led the team to remarkable results.
Brunswick capped the 2018-19 season by winning its fourth high school team national championship (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019) and 17th New England title. The program has participated in the national finals on 12 different occasions since its inception in 2004.
Coach Stephens has led the Bruins to eight-straight national finals appearances (2012-19), while producing eight All-Americans and 74 New England individual champions. In 2014, coach Stephens was recognized as the USOC National Coach of the Year.
