The entire Brunswick community gathered as one — and students united in the traditional (and quite lively and spirited) singing of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” — at the festive and colorful all-school assembly on Thursday, December 20.
The musical event featured boys and choral groups from each school division — and concluded a week of holiday concerts on Brunswick stages and at the Latin Carol Service at Christ Church in Greenwich.
Students, too, spent time thinking about others during this special time of year — as Pre Schoolers donated mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, and socks to the local community; Lower Schoolers participated in Operation Santa 2 in support of Public School 55 in the Bronx; Middle Schoolers “adopted” the same families they supported at Thanksgiving and provided gifts for children in Port Chester, N.Y.; and Upper Schoolers granted more than 800 holiday wishes for those in need.
All now head out on a well-deserved holiday break — with plenty of time to consider their successes and shortfalls of the past few months, as well as the potential and promise of what’s to come at Brunswick in the New Year.
