Brunswick’s five golfers shot a combined 188 on Monday at the Fairview Country Club in Greenwich on Monday, besting St. Luke’s by 20 strokes. The 188 was the lowest aggregate score on a par-36 course for any Bruin team coached by Anthony Fischetti in the past 13 seasons.
Matt Camel and Ben Carpenter both broke par with 35's to share medalist honors. Matty Dzialga and Charlie Marvin carded 39's to win their respective matches, while Thomas VanBelle and Lance Johnson shot 40's in their individual match wins.
The lowest-ever five-golfer aggregate for a Fischetti-led team is a 186 at the par-34 Yale Golf Club.
Brunswick (9-1) heads to the Century Country Club in Purchase, N.Y., on Wednesday to play Taft.
