The Brunswick math team placed second among small schools at the Connecticut State Association of Math Leagues (CSAML) annual state competition at E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, Conn., on Thursday, April 6.
Team members Christian Hartch ’19, Jack Montinaro ’18, Muna Nwana ’18, Andrew Rogozinski ’17, Nick Saah ’18, and Kevin Tu ’20 helped the Bruins to a total score of 67 points — three points behind the winners from Academy of Aerospace and Engineering and comfortably ahead of the third-place finishers from Hopkins School.
Rogozinski earned a perfect score of 18 in the competition to lead the team.
