Baseball Comeback Falls Short
Brunswick was unable to come back from a 7-4 deficit to Avon and lost 9-5 on Saturday afternoon.
Avon started the game with four runs in the first inning. They would then score three in the fifth and two more in the sixth.
Brunswick was led offensively by Boston Flannery and Michael Yeager, who each had two hits. Flannery also added two RBIs.
Brunswick collected seven hits as opposed to Avon’s five but could get only five runs across.
