Brunswick’s Upper School Math “A” Team placed first out of 30 public and private schools in the fifth match of the Fairfield County Math League competitions on Wednesday.
The team — which included Ryan Ahn ’25, Thomas Ewald ’24, William Ewald ’23, Vikram Sarkar ’26, Andrew Tu ’24, and Jack Whitney-Epstein ’26 — scored 96 points as compared to 82 from the second-place finishers from Greenwich High School.
Brunswick stands at the top of league standings at this point in the year with 465 points.
Sarkar and Tu both earned perfect scores of 18/18 in the match.
