Six Bruins Sign National Letters of Intent

Six Brunswick seniors — Tomas Delgado, Will Erdmann, and Andrew Greenspan in lacrosse; Player Crosby and Boston Flannery in baseball; and Sam O’Hara in golf — signed National Letters of Intent (NLI) on Wednesday, November 9.

Delgado, Erdmann, and Greenspan — all of whom played key roles for Brunswick’s nationally ranked squad (No. 2) from a year ago — will attend Duke, Virginia, and Notre Dame, respectively.

Crosby and Flannery — both dominant pitchers with fastballs clocked in the 90s — are set to play collegiate baseball at Coastal Carolina and North Carolina, respectively.

O’Hara, a two-year captain of the Brunswick golf team and participant in last summer’s United States Junior Amateur Championship, will compete on the links at Virginia.

The NLI is a contract signed by both the student-athlete and their college. All NLI contracts must include an athletic aid agreement or athletic scholarship that lists the amount of athletic aid the athlete is being offered for their first academic year. Student-athletes must be enrolling at a four-year NCAA D1 or D2 institution for the first time or transferring to a four-year institution from a two-year college to be eligible to sign the NLI.
