'Wick Partners Up to Host Global 'Hour of Code'

Since 2014, the Computer Science Department has partnered with code.org to host the global Hour of Code event at ’Wick every December.

You're encouraged to come and create an app, a fun-filled game, or just try your hand at coding for one hour!  It's free, and it's for everyone — not just programmers.

From fighting disease to exploring outer space, creating your favorite movies to powering the very device on which you're reading this, computer science is used in every industry and field of study to help solve problems, advance research, create art, keep our infrastructure safe, and more.

The Upper School will celebrate Computer Science Education Week on Thursday as “Dress as Tech CEO” day and Friday as “404 day” by wearing mismatched outfits.
