Brunswick cross country earned wins against GFA, King, St. Luke’s, RCDS, Masters, and GCDS — while falling to Hopkins — at the first FAA 5K race at Sherwood Island on Wednesday, September 22.
In a field of 165 runners, ’Wick earned 50 points — just seven points shy of first place.
Senior Lucas Pombo and eighth grader Nathan Lee took first and second place honors, respectively, while sophomores Luke Dougherty (9th), Carter Bagaria (18th), and junior Charlie Stemerman (20th) rounded out ’Wick’s top-five runners.
The Bruins will travel to Canterbury on Saturday for their next race.
