'Wick Rallies to Stay Undefeated

Brunswick won its second straight game at the Santa Barbara Invitational, overcoming a four-goal deficit to defeat highly-ranked JSerra Catholic High School, 10-8, on Friday afternoon in Southern California. 

Goals from captains JP Ohl and Luke Apostolides and two penalties scored by Ryan Ohl brought the game to a tie at seven after the Bruins began the third quarter down by four. 

Both Ohl brothers would strike again in the fourth (Ryan striking on two more penalties) and Brunswick’s defense — led by goaltender Ryan Miele with seven saves — held the Lions to one goal to secure the victory. 

The Bruins will play later in the evening in the tournament’s quarterfinals against San Ramon Valley High School (Danville, California).
