Brunswick jumped out to a quick 2-0 advantage and never looked back in a 19-9 victory at Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, Pa., on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bruins — who were led offensively by senior co-captains Coulter Mackesy, Lucas Delgado, and Luke Waters — had a 7-3 lead after the first quarter, extending it to 11-6 at the half. Leo Hoffman got his first tally of the season on a strong face dodge and finish during the scoring spree.
In the second half, Jackson Wolfram (three assists) continued to spread the ball around — and two goals from face-off man Andrew Greenspan and one from Owen Guest kept Penn Charter at bay.
Hudson Hausmann wrapped up the game’s scoring with the first of his varsity career in the fourth quarter — 19-9 final.
The Bruins host Trinity Pawling on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. on Cosby Field.
